simple steps to bring fruits come alive in different shapes.
all u need is the Enthusiasm to learn, image of a FRUIT and Adobe
photoshop software.
i know u heve all these, so lets start it without any delay.
1. open a new document
in photoshop.
select a fruit picture ( here i had taken a strawberry), bring it
onto the new document(photoshop defaultly creates a new layer for
it).
2.decide the shape u
want to make, take a new layer and draw the desired share( here i
drew a star shape using custom shape tool).
3.get back to the fruit
layer, taking the star shape as reference, make selection using
pen tool.
4.using the cloe stamp
tool, make the fruit fit into the shape and erase excess sides if
image.
5. now go to the layer
which has the refference shape (here it is star) and turn off its
layer visibility by clicking on the eye symbol next to the
layer.
6. to make the fruit
realistic, we have to add depth to it by clicking layer
properties and select appropriate shadow for the fruit.
7.now for final touches,
take a new layer and draw internal spokes of the shape ( here i
drew 5 lines to make it appear like star). make sure the lines
are having enough pixel width, and set the transperancy at the
lowest so that it appears as if the fruit is shining at the
curves and edges.
make any shape out of any fruit that comes into your mind.
but make sure to add depth so as to make it look
real.
here i made a square fruit in the similar fashion.
